Villa Isnard, Cascina - Pisa in Toscana
Villa dal caratteristico tetto spiovente a gocce nere di ardesia, presenta finestre strette e lunghe ed una torretta centrale che le conferisce l’aspetto di un antico maniero. La villa è proprietà della ricca ereditiera francese M.me Maria Isnard che, dopo aver sposato il ricco fiorentino Aurelio Bianchi, la fece costruire ai primi del ‘900 trasferendo in Toscana un genere architettonico tipico della Costa Azzurra. Era frequentata solo da famiglie nobili ed importanti, fra cui il giovane Giuseppe Cei (forse l’amante della signora) che frequentò la scuola di volo di Parigi e divenne un pioniere del volo, anche se questo sport gli costò la vita nel 1911. La villa è adesso abbandonata; il proprietario Emilio Isnard vive a Nizza.
I lavori di ristrutturazione del tetto, avvenuti nel febbraio del 1998, hanno resuscitato vecchie storie di fantasmi ed antiche leggende. Si narra di un grande castagno che sorgeva nella vicina Villa Bianchi, le cui fronde erano l’anima di un membro della fami ... Read More...
